Thank you for reporting this issue. Please note that enforcement starts at 8:00 AM on the day after the scheduled pick-up day. An Officer for this area will make contact with the occupants and inform them that garbage containers can be put out 24 hours before garbage pick-up and must be put away 12 hours after pick-up, and also notify the occupants that if garbage collection is missed or there is a need for additional items to be picked up, to call the City of College Station Sanitation Department at 979.764.3690 to arrange for an additional collection. Upon Inspection, the containers were out at the curb and items in them were not bagged. Tomorrow is their scheduled trash day (Thursday). The Code Officer made contact with the new tenants who just were moving in today and asked about the containers of which they replied they were at the street when they arrived. The officer left them educational material on the trash and recycle days, took photos, and started a case. If sanitation does not empty the containers tomorrow, the officerwill call the leasing agent to have the containers taken care of.
